Establishing Secure FTP Connections.
Establishing a secure FTP connection is simple.
CuteFTP
On the first screen, provide the FTP Host, User and Password (refer to your Hosting Details PDF).
Then, click on the "Type" tab, and select "FTP with SSL (AUTH SSL - Explicit)".
FileZilla
Within "site manager", besides providing the FTP Host, User and Password (refer to your Hosting Details PDF), all you need to do is touch the dropdown for Encryption and select "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available".
Beyond Compare
On the first screen, provide the FTP Host, User and Password (refer to your Hosting Details PDF).
Open the Protocol dropdown and select FTPS (Explicit SSL)
On the second screen (Connection tab), uncheck "default" and mark the other checkboxes as shown below.
